The four Virgin Islands historic towns, Christiansted, Frederiksted, Charlotte Amalie and Cruz Bay are a showcase of the design and craftsmanship of African, Danish, Virgin Islands, and Caribbean people. As an historic preservation educational center, the Virgin Islands Architecture Center for Built Heritage and Crafts will work with schools in Denmark, Ghana, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, and the United States to offer education, training, internships, and career pathways that honor tradition while also addressing current and future needs.
